Ammunition

Good shooting starts with ammunition that behaves the same way every time. Consistent ignition, smooth cycling and predictable recoil are what let a shooter stop thinking about the round and start thinking about the shot. Every Brass Kisses load is built on premium components and run through a 16-point quality control process before it leaves the facility.

Brass Kisses is sold through authorised retailers and ranges. Find a store near you, or ask your local shop to stock it.

Handgun Ammunition for Everyday Range Sessions

Handguns are where most shooters start, and the load makes a real difference to control and comfort. The handgun line covers the calibers people actually train with:

• 9mm Luger 115gr FMJ — the standard range and training load
• 9mm Luger 124gr JHP — new-production defensive ammunition
• 9mm Luger 147gr FMJ subsonic — built for suppressed shooting
• .45 ACP 230gr JHP — new brass, standard pressure
• 10mm Auto 180gr JHP — full-power loads for hunting and woods carry

Every handgun load is built for smooth feeding, steady recoil and repeatable point of impact across long sessions.

Rifle Ammunition Built for Steady Performance

Rifle shooting asks for accuracy, stability and dependable cycling. The rifle line covers the platforms most shooters run:

• 5.56x45mm NATO 55gr FMJ — M193-spec, and safe in any 5.56 or .223 Remington chamber
• .300 AAC Blackout 147gr FMJ — supersonic, for carbine and SBR work
• .300 AAC Blackout 220gr subsonic — built to run quiet behind a can
• 7.62x51mm NATO / .308 Winchester 147gr FMJ — for precision and long-range practice

Each load is built to support consistent grouping and reliable function across different setups.

9mm Ammunition for High-Volume Shooters

9mm is the most-shot centrefire pistol cartridge in the country, and for good reason: manageable recoil, broad platform compatibility and enough variety to cover training and carry from one caliber. Brass Kisses loads it three ways — 115gr FMJ for volume training, 124gr JHP for defensive carry, and 147gr subsonic for suppressed work.

These are built for repetition. Shooters put real round counts through them, which is exactly the kind of use a 16-point QC process is meant to survive.

Self-Defense Ammunition

Defensive ammunition has to work the first time. These loads are built on 100% new-production components with extra scrutiny on the defensive line:

• 9mm Luger 124gr JHP — loaded to SAAMI standard pressure, not +P, for broad pistol compatibility
• .45 ACP 230gr JHP — new brass, engineered for controlled expansion
• 10mm Auto 180gr JHP — full-power defensive and field loads

Each is designed for controlled expansion, dependable ignition and reliable cycling when it matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where can I buy Brass Kisses ammunition?

Through authorised firearms retailers and ranges. Use the store locator to find a stocking dealer near you, or email info@brasskisses.com and we will point you to the closest one. Brass Kisses is not sold directly to the public.

2. What is 9mm 124gr FMJ ammunition used for?

124 grain is the middle weight in 9mm and a common choice for range training and target practice. It offers smooth feeding, consistent recoil and a slightly heavier bullet than 115gr, which some shooters find steadier through the recoil impulse.

3. Is 9mm 124gr ammunition a good choice for beginners?

Yes. 9mm in general has manageable recoil and predictable behaviour, which makes it easier to build fundamentals. Either 115gr or 124gr works well for a new shooter; 115gr is the lighter, faster option and 124gr the slightly heavier one.

4. Why choose brass cased ammunition over steel case?

Brass cased ammunition generally offers smoother extraction, better reliability and wider firearm compatibility than steel case. Brass also expands and seals the chamber more consistently, which tends to mean cleaner cycling over a long session.

5. What is FMJ ammunition and when should it be used?

FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) is a lead core fully wrapped in a harder metal jacket. It is the standard choice for training and target shooting because it feeds consistently, fouls the barrel less and costs less to shoot than defensive ammunition. For defensive carry, a jacketed hollow point (JHP) is the appropriate choice.

6. Can retailers carry Brass Kisses?

Yes. Brass Kisses works with firearms retailers, ranges and distributors. Apply here and our team will review your application and follow up with wholesale terms, case packs and lead times.
