There's no noticeable difference in recoil or accuracy — the only change is how the primer pocket is formed. As components allow, we offer both standard and small-primer .45. Reloaders: check the pocket before reloading.
Is this a self-defense round?
No — this is a full metal jacket round-nose ball load built for range and training. For carry or home defense, choose a purpose-built defensive hollow-point .45.
Will it run in my 1911 or Glock 21?
